5 Performers to Look Out for at Dreamville Festival

On March 2nd, Dreamville announced their April 2nd & 3rd Dreamville Festival lineup. Headlined by Lil Baby on Saturday and J. Cole on Sunday, the festival isn’t shy to star power. With that being said, let’s dive into some other performers that we’re sure are going to rock the stage.

Fivio Foreign

Proof that even an already well-established rapper can have somewhat of a resurgence within their career. Fivio Foreign already proved he’s more than capable of dropping some of the best drill music amongst rappers, so he linked up with Kanye twice and delivered two verse of the year-worthy performances. With all the momentum Fivio has got heading into Dreamville Fest, he may have the best performance.

Rico Nasty

Rico Nasty is the best kind of chaotic, the true embodiment of the word “free” and she pours all of it into her live performances. If the wild stories of her pretty much shutting the stage down as she opened for Playboi Carti’s Whole Lotta Red Tour weren’t enough to convince you she’s one of the best performers in music then I’m not sure what will. She engages with the crowd, she’s loud, fearless, reckless… I’m willing to get injured if that means I can be in a Rico moshpit.

Dj Drama’s Gangsta Grillz with Lil Wayne, Jeezy, and T.I.

Who doesn’t love some good old-fashioned nostalgia? The four people who are most likely responsible for the popularization of mixtapes, three of the most iconic rappers of all time, all legends from the south, and they’re performing in the south? The moment we hear Wayne play anything from Dedication 2 is the moment we’ll know life might have meaning.

Larry June

The King of feel-good music is in the midst of a well overdue moment in his career. A moment where his legendary status is being recognized nationwide. The Bay Area rapper is coming to NC to bless us all with organic messages that are key to the betterment of our lives in 2022. Good weather paired with Larry June songs at the loudest possible volume is sure to shake off everyone’s seasonal depression come April 3rd.

Spillage Village?

This is just me being me, some of you reading this might dub it as delusional, some may say hopeful or optimistic, and some (myself) may call me a genius. J.I.D., Earthgang, and Mereba will all be in attendance during Dreamville Fest, all performing on the same day (it’s not too late to call me a genius), and although the Spillage collective is missing a handful of members on the lineup list; fans could be due for a surprise, or even a possible team-up between the 3 artists actually on the lineup.
