Just when you thought we were done skimming through summer festival lineups, Austin Parks Foundation announced the lineup for the enviable Austin City Limits Music Festival. Based in Austin, TX (Zilker Park), the festival will take place the first and second weekend of October ( Oct 7th to 9th and 14th to 16th).
Featuring a star-studded front line, the official headliners include, Red Hot Chili Peppers, P!nk, The Chicks, SZA, Kacey Musgraves, Flume, Paramore, and Lil Nas X. Alongside these showstoppers, the artists playing either the first or second weekend are more than enough of a reason to attend the Austin Festival. From Oliver Tree, Omar Apollo, and RHCP who released new albums earlier this year, to artists with pending summer records like SZA and Conan Gray, the festival is a great opportunity to experience your favorite albums live for the very first time.
As one of the many Festivals to take place after a stagnant 2 years in the world of live music, ACL is also the perfect time to experience artists that haven’t performed live since the beginning of the pandemic. For fans of Djo, who released his brilliant debut Twenty Twenty, and Faye Webster, as well as Cassandra Jenkins, who both released cathartic and meditative projects in 2021, this weekend is guaranteed to be a good time.
Don’t miss out! Check out the full lineup and purchase tickets for the second weekend here.
