Today, we have the pleasure of introducing a newcomer from Dallas, Texas, Austin George – debuting his incredibly impressive first single, "bluebonnets." For his first ever release, you may be surprised at how polished and versatile his sound already is, setting the bar high for his future releases.

The "bluebonnets" title is inspired by the purple flowered species native to George's home in Texas. Like the flower, the single is free-flowing, guided by loose guitar strums, crispy indie drum pockets, and George's subdued punk-rock inspired vocal tone. At just 20 years old, Austin George enters the music arena at a powerful moment in time, with angsty indie anthems becoming more mainstream, and the potential to blow up overnight, thanks to apps like TikTok. To say the least, Austin George's project is looking promising, forcing us to issue a warrant to keep him on your radar in 2021, as he builds towards his debut project.
