BabyJake always has a way of bringing a nostalgic feel to his music. His recent release “We Got To Get Together To Be Free” is a prime example of this, as it reminds me of music that would be in movies that my dad would watch during my childhood.

The Nashville singer and songwriter is on an unbelievable run to start 2023, and the creative spark is clearly there with BabyJake. The guitars are vibrant and the background vocals add a stark contrast to the soulful singing from BabyJake. It is a summery song that I want to listen to in an old school convertible and drive down Interstate 10 from Las Vegas to Los Angeles through the beautiful Mojave Desert.
