With festival season officially upon us – it's only fitting the LA-based electronic producer BKAYE makes his timely 2022 return. Teaming up with the melodic vocalist Casey Cook, the two have created a primed summer playlist addition, with "Crash."

"Crash" starts off in dangerous waters, lyrically reminiscing on a past relationship, complemented by atmospheric pads and guitars, creating a cryptic tone that builds in energy. Like any BKAYE track, you know the drop is going to hit – and on this one, the track crashes with the perfect amount of sidechain over the stereo super saw chords and earworm vocal chops – striking an addicting balance of being sentimental, yet exhilarating.

Coming off of performing as direct support for Steve Aoki and gaining Diplo's attention multiple times on TikTok, BKAYE's momentum is nearing full stride for this summer. With hopes of more singles in the near future, let "Crash" hold your EDM needs over in the meantime.
