Chloe Tang is not interested in diving into things; she’s focused on the swim. With her new single, “Swim,” Tang showcases her undeniable talent as a writer and singer, mixing alternative r&b rhythms with nodes of an undeniably summery afro-pop sound. This new single is coming off her previous release in June titled “WTFDIFS,” an equally infectious but stylistically different song, proving Tang’s boundlessness as an artist.
“I’ve learned that putting pressure or deadlines on a connection is a waste of time. This song is all about enjoying time with someone without making any promises or overthinking. It’s a good reminder to me that connection comes in all different shapes and sizes and sometimes it’s just nice to enjoy someone in the moment.”
Tang was recently included in Tidal's Pop Artists to Watch in 2022 and has been on the covers of SWIPEmag and F#M magazine. Her Spotify editorial playlist history includes New Music Friday, Jasmine, Pumped Pop, Dope AF, Beast Meets West, Dance Rising, Creamy, Brand New Chill, and more. Can’t forget, she opened for none-other than Dua Lipa at the Fillmore, where she had worked security only months prior.
