It's finally here, “Forever Been Steppin” has dropped… before we get into the article I have to shamelessly admit I’ve been waiting for this song to drop for a long time. From hearing snippets to a few of me and Eazzyy’s mutuals playing the song here and there, “Forever Been Steppin” has been in my head since the Fall of 2021.

“Forever Been Steppin” is the lead single from Lil Eazzyy and Grammy-nominated, Multi-Platinum Producer Chopsquad DJ’s mixtape dropping on April 22nd. Chopsquad DJ has already worked with some of the biggest acts in the game, but some of his best work is with Chicago acts. The ties with some of the best to ever come out of Chicago. He’s worked with Chief Keef, Juice WRLD, Lil Durk, and he’s the man responsible for producing almost every King Von song.

The track and video show Eazzyy as the most polished version of himself to date. No longer looking or sounding like a rookie in the game, Chicago’s next star has the poise and confidence of a rapper who’s going to be around for a while. If “Forever Been Steppin” is any indication, Eazzyy is surely the next Chicago artist to have a legendary Chopsquad collaboration.
