Miami-based Hoosh returns to the Sheesh pages with his first single of 2021, following his 2020 debut EP everything's going to be alright, bringing raw determination in his new soulful offering, "Commas."

No matter your underlying motivation, everyone has something that drives them to achieve success. Hoosh explains, "I wrote this song the morning after a wild night. Quarantine had us cooped up for a minute, so we came out in full force. I kept thinking, if only I had the money to facilitate these nights for my people, completely hassle free." Through teaming up with producer Thoreau, Hoosh displays his tenacity to attaining affluence through his comforting, raspy vocal tone, reminiscent of a Chance The Rapper / Smino – switching up his cadence to match his lyrical intent. With atmospheric synth work and evolving basslines, the production complements the expansive nature of Hoosh's storyline, seeking difference, and more of it.

After a strange year inside, I'm sure many people can relate to wanting to get after it and make money moves.
