IGIR Woodiee decided to bless us once more before the year ended, dropping a deluxe version of his 2020 album Talk My Shit Starr. Woodiee added nine more tracks to his original 13 song project, including a nonchalant Lil Durk remix to his standout single “Hasta Luego.” Even still, it was the eighth track on the new release that caught my ear: “I’m Fallin.”

In this track, IGIR Woodiee shows us exactly why there’s an electric guitar laying beside him in the album artwork. “I’m Fallin” features rockstar guitar riffs beneath the Georgia rapper’s soulful melodies. Jam packed with Woodiee’s typical high energy, the rapper talks about losing control while continuing to dream big. Switching between sleek flows and carefully picking pockets of melodies with his unique voice, IGIR proves he has all the tangibles, if he hadn’t already proved this in the original album. While “Talk My Shit Starr” made quite the impression, IGIR Woodiee acknowledges his work is far from done in “I’m Fallin,” rapping, “Your first impression was the best, but b*tch don’t make it your last.” One of the can’t miss rappers on the rise, IGIR Woodiee demands attention with “I’m Fallin,” and while you’re at it, I suggest you enjoy his 22 song masterpiece, “Talk My Shit Starr (Deluxe).”
