On Monday, September 27th, J. Cole announced the return of his Dreamville Festival, slated to take place over two days in April 2022. This will be the second ever Dreamville Festival, which was originally announced to take place in April 2018 but was delayed to April 2019 due to Hurricane Florence (The festival set to take place in 2020 was also cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic). In a press release, Dreamville Festival president Adam Roy added his thoughts. “It’s exciting to finally be back. Ever since we wrapped our first fest, we’ve been waiting to get back to the park with our Dreamville family.”
The festival will return to the original venue, Dorothy Dix Park in Raleigh, N.C, this time being extended to two days. Roy commented, “With the fest moving to two days, Dreamville Festival is about to become the festival our team has always dreamt about. We want this to grow into one of the premier annual music experiences in the country.” Fans can purchase tickets on Friday at 10 a.m. ET at DreamvilleFest.com, and those who receive the Dreamville Festival newsletter will get access to an exclusive ticket pre-sale on Tuesday at the same time.
