Jay-Z is about to become the seventh music talent to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. He will sit amongst rappers such as Run-DMC, the Beastie Boys, and The Notorious B.I.G, all of which were inducted in previous years.

The Brooklyn native will be inducted into the performer category among rock legends such as Foo Fighters and Tina Turner. Every performer inducted had released their first single at least 25 years prior. The induction ceremony will take place live at the Rocket Mortgage Field House in Cleveland, Ohio on October 30th. Viewers can watch the induction live on HBO Max and then will be able to stream the show later on the same platform.
