Standing by my statement earlier in the year as a duo to watch in 2022, identical twin duo – KAIRO returns with their fan-anticipated love-pop record “Over.” 

“Tell me how you’re moving on.” A line that is far too relatable when one seems to move on too quickly after a breakup, KAIRO fights the feelings of not being quite ready to move on from a relationship. Over sunset guitar chords, and uptempo drum work, EJ and Ak (KAIRO) harmonize in the chorus wondering what has them so stuck in the mud. No one said moving on from a relationship is supposed to be easy, but at least KAIRO mask the sour feeling with a glowing attitude and addicting melodies to make you forget you were even bothered or upset in the first place.

Continuing to grow independently, KAIRO picks up right where they left off   after releasing their Love Letters From Houston EP back in May. Ej and Ak not only seem to have found their sound within the pop space, they are continuing to stand out with their likable personalities and nostalgic visual aesthetic.
