Four months after dropping his highly anticipated album Donda, Ye has reportedly started working on the album’s follow-up, Donda 2. Steven Victor, an A&R at Universal Music Group and close associate of Ye, broke the news of Ye’s new body of work. “Ye has started working on his new masterpiece, ‘DONDA 2,’ he told Complex.

Right now there is no timeline for when Donda 2 will be released, but videos of Ye in the studio have been circulating online indicating that the album could be on the horizon. While there are still many unknowns about the reported album, fans should expect another boundary pushing album as Victor labeled it a “masterpiece.” It is also interesting to note that Donda 2 would be Ye's first ever sequel album.
