I've been patiently waiting for Matt Champion to drop a new single since 2017 when he released one of my favorite songs of all time, "Fangs," and to nobody's surprise, the release day has finally come, and it was on Valentine's day.

Having so much time away from his solo work left me with next to no idea what to expect, and although it was vastly different from what he's done in the past, I am extremely satisfied as a fan. The music video had some of the most well thought out visuals, and clearly took a ton of time to conceptualize into a reality. We were also blessed with a subtle feature from the raw-indie great Dijon, and the moments where they harmonize at the beginning and end of the track are breathtaking.

Matt Champion was always one of the strongest parts of the boyband BROCKHAMPTON, and now that the band split up, I can't wait to see what's to come from him as a solo act.
