I’ve been a fan of Tai Verdes since the days when he was promoting his first single, "Stuck In The Middle" while still working at Verizon, and it is not by chance that I’m still here years later enjoying his music as much as ever. Tai is one of the few artists who has managed to keep years long relevance in my rotation, and I just simply don’t see myself getting tired of his music. Whether it’s love ballads like "All White," or the song "Sunset" that we’ll dive deeper into today – He. Does. Not. Miss.
"Sunset" is yet another infectious offering from the California native, and it just makes me want to fly to his home state and drive down the PCH during sunset. One of my favorite things about Tai’s music is that he focuses on one emotion that’s bothering him, and he explores it to the fullest extent. "Sunset" is all about knowing there is something beautiful waiting for you right outside of the door, but even with that in mind, still not being able to get out of your own head.
I’ve been lucky enough to see him play live for two years and running at a festival in Cleveland, and he only gets further into my good graces with every performance. His music ages like a fine wine, and I am so happy to see the continued success coming his way. I can’t wait to see what’s next for the people’s champion.
