The Weeknd isn’t playing any games when it comes to making his Super Bowl Halftime Show the best it can possibly be. On February 7th, the superstar will be at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay to perform for a limited crowd. Millions more, will of course be tapped in from home, but Abel is so dedicated to making this amazing for the viewers and his fans, that he decided to put $7 million dollars of his own money towards the show to make it even more cinematic!
The Grammy’s snub is still absolutely shocking but we’ll leave that behind us...because it’s clearly not stopping The Weeknd from kicking off 2021 in a big way with a career milestone. "We all grow up watching the world's biggest acts playing the Super Bowl and one can only dream of being in that position," he previously shared in a statement. "I'm humbled, honored and ecstatic to be the center of that infamous stage this year."
