Verzache, the king of bedroom pop, is back with another introspective, genre-bending banger titled “Broke Mine.” Through the entirety of the song, the 24-year-old artist delivers infectious vocals over off-kilter drums and distorted guitar plucks. Per usual, Verzache blends all elements of the song into an authentic, polished end product.
Since its drop on March 11th, the song has racked up over 300k streams on Spotify and has been added to Lorem, a Spotify curated playlist that has over 900k likes. “Broke Mine” is Verzache’s first solo release since he dropped his sophomore album, My Head is a Moshpit, in March, 2021.
“Broke Mine” is also the first song that Verzache has released alongside a music video. In a post on Instagram, the Toronto, CA artist said, “(making the video was) a lot of hard work but @sirdannyfarber is the kind who had the vision and it turned out amazing…” The video has gained over 10k views on YouTube since its release last week.
