In the past year, a handful of country acts have broken into the mainstream like Sam Barber and Dylan Gossett. Next on that list of rising country stars is Jack Wharff, a 20-year-old artist from Richmond, Virginia. Backed by his band, the Tobacco Flatts, the multi-talented singer-songwriter is on the verge of blowing up.

On January 15, 2024, Wharff posted a video to socials that showed him playing guitar and singing alongside the Garrett and Ryan of the Tobacco Flatts. Immediately, the video resonated with Wharff’s quickly expanding audience, racking up hundreds of thousands of views on TikTok and Reels. From there, the group continued posting videos in the same style which have now been seen by millions of people. 

Since 2022, Wharff has released eclectic music that showcases his unique voice and brilliant songwriting. With the songs he’s been teasing to TikTok in the past three weeks, expect the ascending artist to start making some serious noise within the next few months.
