Toronto born, Alt pop R&B singer songwriter, UNA MIA, will put listeners in a trance with her musical debut, A COLORxSTUDIOS performance of her song “Lose You”. Through sultry vocals and intoxicating lyrics, the singer delivers an enticing performance over lush R&B instrumentals.

The Canadian artist grew up in a first generation Bosnian home with exposure to Blakan folk music and blues as well as inspirations from listening to soul artists like Etta James, Aretha Franklin, and Ray Charles. Developing her talent, UNA MIA partook in classical voice lessons, performing arts, and opera.

With a hearty background in music, the young artist is preparing to release her debut EP, a project that she describes as a personal reflection – written in the style of diary entries and a symbolic launching of herself into the world as a musician through an earnest and growth oriented experience. The EP is a coming of age tale rooted in personal growth and sailing through womanhood and the great unknown.
