Rapper Young Thug is making genuine moves towards making “Slime City” a reality. The Atlanta rapper was recently gifted 100 acres of land in the greater Atlanta area from his manager Geoff Ogunlesi and his real estate agent Trey Williams.
On August 18, 2020, Williams, a self-titled celebrity realtor, broke the news of Young Thug’s surprise birthday gift on Instagram. “Happy Birthday to one of my top clients @thuggerthugger1. His manager @geoffo212 and I secretly locked down 100 Acres of land for his birthday and now he’s about to build Slime City! This is hands down one of the best ways to invest your money! Thank you @geoffo212 for trusting me to get this deal done,” he said.
With his new acquisition of land, the Rich Gang rapper plans on building nice homes, a water park, facilities to host his annual festival “Slime Fest,” and trails to ride dirt bikes on around the property. Thugger has started consulting with architects and engineers, and has applied for permits with the city. As soon as the permits are approved, construction will begin on the property, spurring a massive transformation of the land, which WSB-TV has reported to be mainly undeveloped, and located somewhere in the rural Atlanta area.
