Hailing from the heat of Phoenix, Arizona – Mandy Slate is introduced to the Sheesh community with her playful pop sound in her latest single, “Silver Lining.”
Easy, breezy, colorful, playful – simply the best adjectives to describe “Silver Lining.” With the light, synth-based production, bouncy drum grooves, and happy-go-lucky vocal melodies and songwriting, “Silver Lining” is a breath of fresh air for when you simply need a feel good record.
Slate says on the release, “[Silver Living] is about finding hope and light in a special person, likened to a “silver lining,” who brings comfort and clarity during dark times, and that optimism is reflected in the song’s floaty, celebratory groove and melodies.
Reminiscent of the energy of a Remi Wolf or Lola Young, Mandy Slate seems to have found her stride with this single, creating a sound that serves positive energy to its listeners, in her own unique way.
