Kid Cudi first announced his Netflix project called Entergalactic, and it’s accompanying album in 2019 with the goal to release both in 2020.

Things switched up, as Cudi put out his Man on the Moon III: The Chosen album, seemingly delaying the project further. The animated series is expected to have the rapper-singer writing, starring, and executive producing, alongside Kenya Barris. Fans seem to be disappointed with the push back when they discovered that the preview page on Netflix mentions “2022” as the release time frame, one fan noted. It’s safe to say Cudi is taking his precious time with this and could be experiencing possible production delays due to Covid-19.
